Lüthi and Blanc

Lüthi & Blanc is a very successful soap that is currently running on Swiss television. One of our members, Phillip Heselton, who is responsible for the lighting for the show, arranged for us to visit the set, which is permanently set up in an old factory north of Zurich. It was fascinating to see how a high quality professional production is put together. We were able to take a close look at the approximately 20 different sets and were all impressed how the clever use of paint could turn simple surfaces into rooms that  look totally realistic on the screen. We learned how to use a TV camera and much about the technology and organization that is necessary to put together a long-running TV series.
