The Anglo-Swiss Club Lucerne is the town's most popular English language social club for those who enjoy a regular programme based on AngloSaxon culture. Founded in 1923, it still continues to meet twice monthly on a Wednesday evening throughout most of the year The Club's programme includes:
Regular newsletters keep members up to date about the Club's forthcoming activities and also about other English language events being held in the area. Membership is open to people of all ages and nationalities who enjoy meeting and socialising with other English speaking people on a regular basis. It's an ideal club for those unable to attend English language social events held during the day. The Club has no political or religious affiliations. Annual membership fee: Passive members receive the club's regular newsletter but pay a guest fee of Fr. 5. -- each time they attend a club event.
